Well, I still use Windows Media Player for all type of medias which can be played with it. I also use a very simple and basic player called Xing for some unreadable ( on other media players ) media disks.

I use Winamp. I can't stand media player.
I used to use the Creative music catalogue / playlist software, but the new version of that is really buggy

Winamp is my first choice. I think the sound quality of it is quite good. Recently I tried Foobar 2000 and I found that the sound quite is a little better than Winamp. You may take a look.

I use Amarok, i find this program really complete. it has options where you can get the lyrics, the bio of the band, it sets the cover of the albums, auto. i love it
i used to use xmms = winamp for linux. but amarok is much better. in my opinion.
you should give it a try

Amarok is a great program I was well impressed after using xmms on a few distros, would take a really great program to come out for me to stop using that.
For windows I usually just use WMP and sometimes itunes ( for its very quick and easy way of burning playlists to cd )

I use WMP and iTunes, depending on which songs I want to listen to because I have them scattered in different locations. Probably should get around to consolidating them though.
I used Winap years ago and seem to remember liking it, but I forgot that I had used it until now...maybe I'll check in on it again.

I'm suprised that people are still using winamp. iTunes is infinitely superior as a music player. It has more features, and even is more considerate of identifying songs, artists, and genres you like and taking that into account when creating random playlists. With that being said, I am not happy with the itunes store.

Why aren't you happy with the itunes store? Some incident in particular? I've never really used it before, but if songs become $0.69 I will definitely consider.
