What is CSS basically? I mean, I need to know what is the main characteristics of CSS is basically?

Why no one is there coming to this forum? I am getting suspicious whether I have posted my query on the right place or not? Is anyone there, To help me out in this regard. If I have not posted on the right place so please let me know? I am waiting for the answer from long time back for this query but no one is coming to this sub forum! This thing getting me puzzled!

It is a web language that you can use in conjunction with HTML to endow it with many, many extra properties.
