How were you able to get photoshop and dreamweaver for free? A friend? Because they are pretty costly programs.

My favorite free software is Wordpress. It's enabled me to make a pretty efficient and clean-looking site for no cost. I can't imaging having to start from scratch and spending much more time having to learn everything. This way, I learn as a I go, but there isn't a huge gap between what I know and what I can do.

^Another good one, though it seems more like a platform than a program, but, I wouldn't know where to draw the line between the two. A similar program, which I've heard being referred to as an "envrionment," is Joomla. When I master Wordpress and have some free time I definitely want to experiment with Joomla by building another site.

Yes, I'm curious too...how are Photopshop and Dreamweaver considered free programs, when they are the more expensive programs out there. Although I do have to say though that students get discounted rates, down to a couple hundred of dollars depending on the discount.

I really like Word Press too, and in my opnion I think it could easily sell for a couple hundred of dollars.

My favorite free someware is a really simple notepad upgrade called notepad SX.

It's kinf of notepad but with some really simple excel type functions worked in like sorting, chaging case, getting rid of blank lines so on.

My favorite free software is Openoffice and Avira Personal Antivirus. I am using office to all my data processing needs and Avira for my protection. The avira free antivirus version does not expire unlike other antivirus.

Malwarebytes is my new favorite malware removal tool. You can get it from download.com and its great for removing those pest programs.
