Avery Design Pro 5.4 and Windows Vista
Have had this program since 1999. Transferred from "old" Windows XP to new Windows Vista and worked great until yesterday...opens in safe mode. Message requested uninstall and reinstall which was done without incident BUT it still opens in safe mode.
Any ideas how to fix?

I solved it. unchecked the Run in 256 colors and Run in the 640 X 480 screen resolution in compatibility portion of properties. All of the settings are unchecked and it works great!

Wow that is a very old software, and you haven't updated it? Well I guess since it old application, you need to lower your resolution, because Vista have a high resolution and your software resolution might not compatible, surely it has lower resolution.

To stick with one version of a program for 11 years, and even changing computers and OS along the way is awesome! I have som older versions of games which I would like to play, but they all run in ULTRA speed now - if running at all
