Linux Mint?

Has anyone tried out Linux Mint? A friend mentioned this flavor of Linux to me last week and said he was extremely impressed with it. He said it was much better than Ubuntu. I read on their site that it's actually a variant of Ubuntu. Anyhow, I might install it on a spare PC around here sometime soon and was wondering if anyone here had experience with it yet.

I will certainly give it a try. As you should well know i am a huge fan of linux in general.
