Default Voice Activated typing

Has anyone ever used on of those voice activated typing programs? I have a lot of typing to do for my business and have considered trying this since my daughter was born. I think I might be able to get more done using such a program.

Do you mean typing is done just by talking in the mic? If so, please let me know of a good software. I am highly interested in trying it and to see how it works...It'll surely help me when writing a thesis/project

I have tried them but they make many mistakes so you gotta read everything again afterwords... sometimes is just faster to write it yourself. If you find something please let me know!! good luck!! :-)

I'd be keen to find this out also please guys. As above I have always found them a little innacurate and as a result had to go through everything and make sure the words were actually what I said.

If anyone can point our a reliable program that would be great

I've not had a lot of luck so far but if you guys can find something that would work I would be interested. I have no feeling in my finger ends and so typing for me is a real problem.

I've tried a few, but non really useful. The one with fewest errors was called dragon...something-something. I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

Default Dragon

You are not referring to Dragon Naturally Speaking? Its a bit of a pain to get right but after you train it to your voice it makes typing a breeze!

I think you can go for Dragon Dictate Software. It converts voice received through microphone into data . It has variety of features like robust recognition, microphone, command and control , etc.
