Computers: Favorite Brand
What is you favorite kind of computer brand and why do you like them?
I really love HP Computers becasue they are great. Right now I have a Dell and I hate it when I had a HP it ran better then my Dell does now and the HP was 4 years old and my dell is only 2.
HP just makes great computers

I use a Dell, but I personally prefer self-made computers. They are generally more cost efficient due to the fact that you construct them yourself.

One word alienware.
I know your paying extra just for the brand name but there is something about them.
I don’t know if it’s the case or if it’s the fact they have been really designed for games.

I agree, I've always wanted an alienware, the look, and the specs are just really good/cool. I'll eventually save to buy one, but for now I'm still saving for something else.

I have an HP computer, a Toshiba laptop, and a very slow DELL laptop. I prefer the Toshiba .
Alienware is the perfect computer for all gaming. Oh well, costs way too much :/.
Thank You,
Donny

I have never bought a brand name machine - always built my own.
I was a sysadmin for a big company for a while though, and through them I learned one thing - HP / Compaq machines are rubbish.
I would probably go for a Dell if I had to buy a pre-built machine.

I can't undertand that. I've had multiple RECENT hp's and they are great. Good products. They actually give you hardware thats upgradable, and not made by their own company. They give Asus, Samsung, Kingston, and All kinds of other great names. I prefer self-built though.
Self-built pc's are cheaper, and they have what you want. Bad thing is, there's no warranty to replace failed parts and such. Thats the only downside. If the manafucter warranty ends, and the hardware fries, your screwed. =P

i personally swing with hp computers, or acers. i have a 400 mhz, 256 ram hp, its 7 years old, but still runs relatively well. acer's full setups are fairly reliable and good for all-round use.
