Default McAfee Vs ZoneAlarm

Which one do you think is better? I have never tried any of those but I am stick with Norton. I am planning to purchase a Firewall + Anti-Virus Bundle pack. Which one do you think is the best? Price doesn't matter to me as I know they aren't that expensive.

Thank you.

Haven't used any of them. I am going to buy either McAfee or ZoneAlarm or any other firewall that's nice and well known.

Just need some testimonials to decide what to buy

the best anti virus is kaspersky. its is slow buy it catch most of the virus missed by mcafee and norton. if you my dual core system. use 2 security suite. im using kaspersky, norton 2006, zone alarm, spy doctor. spy doctor is one of the best one. it may not be a big name, but it works well.

I use Avast. Freebie, and very reliable. Endorsed by PC World, and it eats up far fewer resources that mcafee or norton.

1) I dislike both of them, but moreso Mcafee. I wouldn't use either...McAfee Personal Firewall is a resource hog and lacks customization options, while Zone Alarm, in my experience, has been plagued with that "True Vector Corruption" error and Zone Labs changing its product lines and doing away with the nice product I liked which was ZA Plus, which was annoying.

2) In terms of "Suites", the newest bloated ZAP IS a suite product, that includes Privacy, along with Anti-Virus components, not to mention an Anti-Spam component, so these are in all practical purposes SUITE products, and I do agree that layered security is better than packaged into one SUITE of products.
