Some types of classical, like Mozart, are good for priming specific cognitive tasks, such as spatial reasoning and abstract thinking. Other than that, I'm not sure if the Baby Einstein really makes babies smarter, much of it might be marketing hype.
I like classical sometimes when I'm in the mood for low-key music.

I don't know who could not like classical. In the Western world, there was a time when music was classical...everyone appreciated it.
I personally love classical. Some of my favorite composers are Bach and Chopin.

I like classical music, but I also think "everything in moderation". Too much of anything is just too much!

yes indeed, classic music are undying music. It is true it is used in learning new music. I would never trade classic music to the present music right now, specially the loud music. To listen to classic music is like heaven. I just love it.

I saw the movie, Knowing a few weeks ago. It had this excellent classical piece that was the theme for the movie.
Later on I found out it was by Beethoven, called "Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, II. Allegretto." It fit the film perfectly. Now I listen to it whenever I can.
This has definitely opened my eyes to classical music. I've been a fan, but lately now I'm more interested in finding pieces that help me relax, concentrate, and focus on my work.
