Default Web Page Translation?

Do you bother translating your pages? I though about doing this a few times when I noticed that a lot of my traffic was from another country, but I didn't actually know how to go about doing it. I thought I could just do the lame Google translate thing, but that doesn't work all that well.

I did try to find a translator, but the cost of having someone go through your site and translate it all into another language wasn't that cheap. I decided to just pass on the idea. It would be different if I could speak more than one language, but in school, my foreign language credit was completed with American Sign Language.
