Default Did your PC ever mess up?

So, did your PC ever mess up? Like did it break, or some horrible virus went in it which you couldn't remove and stuff like that

If so, post it here For me>> It once gave me an error "Error Loading Windows OS" and I had to reformat my PC and loose MANY important stuff

What about you? Post it here

I don't remind formating, infact, I somehwat like it no matter how odd that sounds, anything important is already on a disc anyways, formating gives me a fresh new computer basically.

Not sure what happened, but a month ago my computers drive suddenly got wiped. Just out of the blue. I'm pretty sure it was no virus either.

So I had to start over, which sucked badly. But that's the only time anythign serious happened, cause I can fix the rest

I had a hard drive fail on me once. I lost some stuff, but not too much. Maxtor have a great warranty service too so I had a replacement within a couple of days.

Usually if the OS fails I just boot off another drive, rename the windows folder and re-install so I don't loose anything.
