Default static ip address

hello,

i recently bought my own 1u server. i am ready to start my home webserver. i have almost everything set up, i just need to get it online...i would like to know how to set a static ip address on my linux ubuntu server edition so that it will not be changing around...like 192.168.1.100 to .102 or .103 etc....

i have webmin installed on it...how can i do it from there?
