Cool Your Favourite Sci-Fi Book(s)

What are your favourite science fiction works in print? At the top of my list is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle (sp). This book was one of the few sci-fi stories I have come across with a female lead, and not of the ginormous boobage set but someone closer to looking like a normal chick. And the story was awesome.

Not really interested in Sci-Fi unless it has Death, Destruction and Greed.
