Were you trying to set up a server, or were you using it as a desktop? As much as I like Linux. I wouldn't use it on my desktop for the simple fact. I have too many Windows programs and games. (The sooner they get ported to Linux the better) I could install a dual boot, but I prefer Windows on the desktop. I wouldn't use Windows on my server, even if you gave me a free copy.
